I heard it was for Wales and the south, not so much for us up north.

WeeGranny, it's the same here in Sussex. And we're in the caravan with a broken fridge!

            Oh it's so hot today,

After lunch we went to our shopping mall as I needed to go into Asda and Sainsbury's,
Walking back to the car felt like a mile ,
            The heat was intense.
We got home and GS called to see if we were in ,
He only got in from holiday at 4am as the flight was delayed,
He had a few hours sleep then came round to see us .

I hand washed 4 bras and put them on the line they were dripping wet but dried within a hour

There is a large inflatable pool in the garden, looking very inviting. GC in it yesterday.

OH and I actually sat in ours a couple of time during the hot days of lockdown as the GC couldn't come round to use it!

                      Good for you Gem 😁
When DD bought one of these huge ones for GS and his friends years ago she used it as well ,
Tried to get Storm in but he wasn't having it .

Oma, I'm quite surprised Storm wouldn't go in the pool because he must hate the hot weather. DS2 and DIL2 have got a paddling pool for their dog (plus a much bigger one for the GDs). Cooper loves to go in his pool, but just stands there cooling his paws. Eva would be splashing about in it.

Plant, I'm sorry you can't enjoy the cool water as well, but it's lovely to watch the children enjoying themselves, isn't it.

He won't go in the water at the beach either , but loves doggie aqua once the persuade him to get in ,
Put the hosepipe on and he runs 😁

Oma, Eva doesn't like the sea, but loves the river. She can't wait to get on the water treadmill at Hydrotherapy. She also loves the hosepipe. She chases the spout of water and doesn't mind getting soaked. We use it to bath her!
