    Thunder

With the thunder and lightning this morning it got me thinking about when mine and my GSs were little ,
How we stopped then from being scared,

With all of them we had a thing
When it thundered we had a Thunder dance ,

We would dance silly and clap and shout FUNDY my DS couldn't say thundy so Fundy it was and it stayed as Fundy

When it was lightning we would say it was god turning his lights on and off and we would get them to do that with ours to answer him.😁

Even now like this morning both B and myself shouted Fundy ,
If the neighbours could hear us they would think we were mad ,
It was silly but none of mine were scared of a storm, so it worked,

DD said she still has a little dance when it thunders 😁

Oma, what a fun way of stopping little ones from being frightened by thunder storms.

My mum was always terrified of them, and my dad always took me to a window to watch and we'd try to work out where the lightning was actually going. Thunder was always God moving the furniture round.

I used to be scared of thunderstorms until my late teens.
Neither of the sons or grandaughters have been scared of it.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

GD2 was scared of thunder when she was younger, she would stand in front of the window looking at the clouds and asking me if they were thunder clouds!!!

I'm not at all keen on thunder and lightening I have to say.

When I was child my dad said thunder was the clouds banging together
