    What day is it?

One of the strange things about being retired is I sometimes don't know what day of the week it is, particularly if it's a quiet week with not much happening.

This week though, I seem to have excelled myself. Every morning I've woken up thinking it was Friday. Goodness knows what day I'll think it is tomorrow when it really is Friday.

Am I the only one who's so confused?

Iโ€™m the same Daisy. Once I get the idea fixed in my hard itโ€™s very difficult to shift. Iโ€™m like you itโ€™s mostly on the days when nothing much is happening .๐Ÿ˜€

I also have to think hard what day is it. I have a large month per page calendar now and DD fills in when they are away.

If our routine changes OH and I often struggle with what day it is, me more than her I would say!
With her golf days and my aqua, library and GC days I do generally know, and need to know what day it is. Any changes though and I often spend part of the day believing it's a different one

I'm so glad I'm not the only one.

B has been terrible this week getting days mixed up, three times he has thought it was the weekend.
I told him he is getting like his mother , she never knows what day it is .

I never know the date , I have to look on my calendar, that's why I send Birthday cards early so I know the recipient gets it๐Ÿ™„

              I sympathise with B.

After thinking every day this week was a Friday, yesterday (Friday, no less!) I kept thinking it was Saturday!! There's no hope for me.

We were a bit confused over what day it was this morning. This is because yesterday wasn't a typical Friday.
No GS2 school pick up, and OH's Thursday golf was moved to Friday

Gem, if it isn't your usual routine for a particular day, I can understand the confusion. I had no such excuse!

I think as soon as you stop going to work, every day is the same.
