    British Summertime

The clocks go forward tonight ladies.

Lighter evenings to look forward to, but I feel sorry for people going to work/school early, possibly while it's still dark.

The clock on our cooker defies any normal method of resetting it. Neither of us can work it out. I don't bother setting the time on the microwave.

I leave my car's clock on summer Time all year round, which irritates OH but I just like to think of summer when I've spent ages defrosting the car in the depths of winter.

We altered most of our last night. Only had two to alter this morning.

I don't have any clocks that need manual resetting apart from the cooker clock! That one is a nightmare to change and the previous owners didn't leave me any instructions, so it hasn't been changed since I moved here! I did check it this morning to reassure myself that the other clocks had reset themselves!

I'm sure when we were children we didn't have so many clocks around the house. I can only remember there being a clock on the mantlepiece. Perhaps my parents had one in the bedroom, but I don't ever remember hearing a morning alarm.
