Winter Olympics

Are any of you watching the Olympics?

I know Plant has been enjoying them ,

I must admit although I don't like sport or watching it ,
I do like the winter olympics ,
I have watched the curling , the skeleton sleigh, skiing and snow boarding ,

Some of the injuries have been awful though,

The pressure on the skier's joints especially ,
I read that most skiers by the time they are 50 have had knee and hip replacements
The jumps and twisting play havoc ,
All that for a medal ,
But when your dedicated and driven you put up with that,
Some have competed with broken shoulders broken legs etc 😱

I have been watching it every day, Love the curling and most of the indoor events. The scenery is wonderful.

I do watch the skating and skiing, amazing! I have seen a few others as well.

I haven't watched it much,just seen odd bits. Hubby has watched quite a bit of it.

OH enjoys it and has watched quite a lot.
I wouldn't watch it by choice. I see bits when it's on, but the only thing I enjoy is the skating.

I used to love watching the skating, but nowadays I find myself holding my breath in case they fall badly. They seem to be much faster than they used to be. I haven't watched a lot, but have enjoyed the snowboarding more than anything.
