Babies born in unexpected places!

Lizzie telling us about the baby born in the car yesterday made me think about this.

I know of another baby born in the family car (GS1's cousin). Also two babies born at home in their bathrooms. These were meant to be hospital births.
I also knew a lady who gave birth standing holding onto the railings outside the hospital I was amazed when she told me this when I was admiring the newborn a couple of weeks later. Apparently when her OH parked she got out of the car then could go no further!

All these babies were boys, as was the baby in Lizzie's case. Is it only boys who arrive like this??!!

No Gem, friends of DS2 lost their first daughter to SMA at 6 months, later they were expecting another child, the birth went so quickly the friend delivered the baby himself, a girl. All cosied up in bed by the time the ambulance arrived.

Our friend gave birth to her daughter on the toilet,

She's 38 now and we still tease her mother about it😁
