    Welcome to December.

Just one birthday this month, that's DIL today.

I have heard there is something called Christmas later this month.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

No birthdays, which I am glad about!

Quite a few social engagements this month, and a hospital appointment for OH which we will be glad to be over.
Little E has a nursery Christmas performance (singing) which I am taking him to it as it's a Thursday

    Plus, as Nan2 says, Christmas!

Nanto, it's a good job you reminded me! I'd better get organised.

Only four birthdays this month. My sister-in-law in America, and a very old friend, both on the 12th. My GD2 on the 27th, and my niece/God daughter on the 28th.

We've turned down several social engagements for this month, mainly because they all involve very crowded rooms and it's something I've been advised to avoid. Fortunately OH doesn't seem to mind. We are going to a small gathering at our neighbours' on 22nd, and DIL1's for the day on the 14th plus New Year's Eve at a friend's, which will be a lunch this year.

Our calendar seems to have filled up with health/medical appointments though, including 2 lots of treatment/appointments this month. These 5 week months make a difference to a four week cycle.

Gem, how lovely that little E is singing in his nursery's Christmas performance.

Daisy he has practiced them all a lot. Whether he will remember them on the day or be stage struck is another matter

Aww, Gem. He will be very sweet, whichever way it goes, but hopefully he will remember and sing with confidence. xx

DD birthday on 11th,DS birthday on 28th, what would have been our 54th wedding anniversary on 18th. Book club dinner on Wednesday ( eek, thought it was next week!) Advent service at church tomorrow, school play dress rehearsal on 10th, ladies group Christmas social also on 10th , but in the afternoon. Dog sitting over weekend of 12th while DD and SiL have their annual Christmas market trip, this year to Krakow. Then it's off to Slovakia on 23rd and hope that DS is back from India by then!
Apart from buying presents I've done nothing else for Christmas!
Believe you can and you're halfway there.
