How is this for a misleading offer?

A chap knocked on the door last week asking if I was a radio listener . I am, more so than a Tv watcher. He said he was doing a Mori Poll and would I take part. I agreed as all that was required was keeping diary of programmes listened to for a week. For this, I could claim a £5 gift card to use in many different shops. When I tried to claim the voucher, every one I clicked on needed to be topped up to at least £10 before it was claimed! Needless to say I will not bother finishing the diary. Just looked at reviews for Love2shop, the voucher people, the reviews were dire. Be warned.

I would have stopped doing the diary as well.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Grauntie, we had the same with a chap coming to the door. Also Mori Poll. I said no, as I couldn't be bothered, but I know several people in our road agreed to do it. I haven't heard any complaints yet, but it's early days. What a nasty little scam!

Grauntie I have done a couple of these , but I did get a £20 voucher one time and £40 the other with no problems. It does sound as if yours was a scam.

I wouldn't do it again however, it took a lot of my time for a relatively small reward.
