I'm a July baby and I much prefer Summer to any other season!

GS's birthday on 8th and he's off to Uni on 13th.

I'm off to Athens and a Med cruise on Friday, it'll certainly be warmer than it is here at the moment!

GN has a birthday on 29th and DD and Sil's wedding anniversary on 26th.......or it might be the other way around! I always get them mixed up!

Cataract op on 17th and hopefully start back reading at local school at the end of the month.

Gem, I hadn't thought about favourite seasons being linked to birthdays, but it often seems to be the case. Is it too early to say roll on Summer!!!

WeeGranny, is your GS looking forward to Uni? I imagine he will enjoy the sports facilities, but hopefully his course will be interesting too. Your cruise sounds wonderful, and helps to extend summer at this time of year. It sounds as though you will be getting your cataract op almost before you've unpacked from your cruise, but it will be good to get it over and done with. Let us know how your cruise goes, and make us envious with the temperatures. xx
