    Bread

A few days ago,our nextdoor neighbour asked me if we like brown bread.
I told her we do buy it along with white bread.
She said she had bought a bread making machine, and said she would make us a loaf.
Yesterday, she brought us a loaf and its really nice. We had it with best butter on.
Hubby is a bread lover, seeded bread, crusty bread any kind of bread.
Me not so much, but tonight i had two slices and its really nice.
Never been known for me to have two slices of bread.
I always buy sliced bread because i'm hopeless at cutting it.
So hubby cut it, and he cut it thin just how i like it.
Over the years i have thought about buying a bread making machine, but for some reason i've never bought one.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

I love bread made in the bread maker Nanto2. There are so many recipes. As you say, the trouble is eating too much of it, especially with good salty butter!

      I love it too.
I'm guilty of having not used my breadmaker for some time I must get back to it!

B makes amazing bread by hand not machine,
I must confess it's my downfall, I'm a great bread lover, not white sliced although you have to have white sliced with a bacon sandwich or beans on toast,
I'm a brown multi seeded kind of girl or rye , sourdough anything with a strong taste with lots of best butter.
Not ideal when your diabetic but it's my guilty sin and I do without lots of other stuff ,

It's worth buying a machine Nanto and you could invest if you haven't already got one in a electric knife with a bread knife bit on it to slice thinly.

Oma, we all need a B! We have a slicing machine we were given as a wedding gift 53 years ago. Still going strong.
            New thread on it’s way…

Nanto, I always use our bread maker, and haven't bought bread for 20+ years. I mostly make 50/50 white/whole meal for every day and it literally only takes 5 minutes to put together. I find if we never touch the loaf with our hands it easily lasts 5 days. However, I'm still rubbish at cutting it!
