    Mobile phone bags

I have been looking at those little shoulder bags to carry your mobile phone in.
The type I mean are small, almost phone sized, have a section at the front for the phone and another for cards, keys etc. Some have more that two sections. These seem such a good idea to me. I intend to get one.

Does anyone have one of these?

Yes I have one, a cross over body one, but I only use it when I'm walking the dog and need my phone but don't want to put it in my pocket,
I think they are brilliant, especially if you don't want to carry a handbag,
My DD has one it has a small hole in the side so she can plug her headphones into her phone and listen to pod casts as she's walking Storm.
Mine is a older model version had it a few years so mine doesn't have that function.

I have had similar a few years, my phone is usually in my pocket though or I take a small bag with me.

Gem, I've been looking at similar bags as well. My current phone is larger than usual and some packets seem to be very small. I also think if you are in a crowded place a bag is safer. It would also be useful for dog walking for me - I have got a perfectly sized bum bag for training, but don't particularly want to use it for everyday walks.

I also need a slightly larger bag to use as a handbag. My favourite one has finally worn out and I have two others but neither of them will take my phone easily. I like to have it in a separate pocket or section so I don't pull other things out with it.

I wish clothing manufacturers would catch up and be more generous with pocket sizes, especially for jeans, trousers and jackets.

When I make the denim skirts I add larger pockets so that my phone fits. As you know the Dutch cycle, the females ,males as well actually, put their huge phones in their back pockets, I often see them almost falling out! Working the way out in fact.

Lizzie, what a good idea to make larger pockets for your phone. I confess I put my phone in my back pocket, if there is one! and it does stick up a bit. I've got a protective case on the back of the phone which helps it to stay in place but even so it's not ideal. At least I'm not cycling, so it does stay put, but I'm always conscious of it sticking up.

Daisy, a young man from the gym was telling me how many ladies phones get stolen at festivals as they stick out of their back pockets! Not that we will be doing festivals

Lizzie, I can imagine that happening, especially in crowds where people are jostling about. I would carry a bag in those situations (not that I'm going to a festival any time soon) because you're almost asking to get your phone lifted from a back pocket. Why don't fashion designers move with the times - they must have phones too.

Not yet! I've seen one I like on Amazon but I'm trying to avoid paying the postage by waiting until we need something else!
