I obviously didn't go to the right Tupperware parties - they were never that exciting.

I remember you were obliged to buy something and I bought the smallest cheapest thing as it was all I could afford!

We were on a tight budget, I hated going to them but felt obliged when asked ,
Can you remember Pippa Dee parties where they sold night gowns etc,
          Again so expensive .

            Oh yes Oma!
I only went to one, and I was 15 and with my mum, who of course paid. It was my cousin living down the road who hosted it.
Mum bought me a flowery bra

Oh dear, I was never invited to a Pippa Dee party. But I know I couldn't have afforded to buy anything.

I never went to a Pippa Dee party, don't know anyone who had one.
I did go to a couple of Tupperware parties though.
Like the rest of you,i felt obliged to but something.

Many years ago,my SIS in law had a party that sold pottery items.
I've still got a flower vase i bought, and still use it sometimes.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

I did once host a silver jewellery party, the only thing of that kind I ever hosted.
Nice silver jewellery and I got something free for hosting
I only invited people I knew could afford and would want to buy something, not feel obliged.

Sorry Grauntie your Funny post has become a selling party one!

I remember the name Pippa Dee but never went to one. I only ever went to one Tupperware party and I still have a measuring jug which I use when I’m ironing.
