    Husband lied to me.

We had a small leak from the guttering at the back of the house.
When it rained, it would drip onto the conservatory roof. It was like chinese torture.
This afternoon hubby said i'm going to go up and fix it.
I didn't want him going up there on the ladders, so suggested getting someone in to do it.
OK, said hubby. Next thing i could here the ladders.
By the time i got outside,he was up there.
I asked what happened about getting someone in.
His reply, you didn't think i'd get someone in when i knew i could do it myself.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Nanto, I'm sure that same conversation would be repeated in our house, too. You can't keep a willing worker down, can you. Hopefully he came to no harm and fixed the leak.
