    Greedy!

I bought two pairs of canvas slip on shoes from Tu at Sainsbury's last summer.
I need a certain amount of support in my shoes because of my back. Sadly these did not supply that.
I wore them each once , put them away and at the end of summer decided to sell them on Vinted. They cost £10 a pair and I was offering each pair at £2.50. They look completely new.

A lady bought one pair a while ago and was very happy with them.
Today someone offered me £1.25 for the other pair!
I thanked her for her offer, but told her I would rather donate them to the charity shop than take less than £2.50.

    I think it's a good bargain, and a cheek!

    Some people are so cheeky,
I read of one woman giving away a almost new cooker and the person wanting it asked if she could throw something else in for free to make the journey worth their while to collect it ,

I think I would rather take them to the charity shop too Gem ,
Im not fat just 6ft too small

There is always someone who has the cheek of the devil.
Like Vinted, its the same on Market Place and Ebay.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Good for you, Gem. People like that have got a cheek.

I was very embarrassed by someone I consider a friend selling a neighbour short. The neighbour was in very difficult circumstances, and the friend had a rough idea without knowing details. The neighbour had a bike she wanted £15 for. This friend went and offered her £10, which the neighbour accepted. The bike was probably worth £40- or £50! The friend is definitely not hard up.

I have now sold the shoes for the full (bargain price) £2.50. The lady has them and is pleased with them.
