    April Fools

I have been smiling at some April Fools jokes on FaceBook today.

Ikea introducing meatball flavoured lip balm. Premier Inn removing hash browns from their breakfast buffets due to sudden low demand . York Chocolate Story planning to install a huge chocolate fountain in York centre. Air conditioning for the Bake Off tent. ID for anyone under 18 buying Waitrose Easter eggs
I'm sure there were lots more.

I watched some of the Lorraine programme this morning. She supposedly had tattoo on her upper arm to commemorate her baby GD.
She said she hadn't seen it herself and removed her cardigan to show . It had the name Billy and two baby feet. Someone asked wasn't the name spelled with an IE not Y? Lorraine was furious, took off her mike and stormed off the set

I suspected as soon as I saw it because I didn't think the spelling was correct, and it was lilac and looked exactly like some of the ones the GC have put on us over the years.

I was wondering yesterday if any high profile companies or mass media would have a few tricks in store this morning. It's good to see a sense of humour is still alive and well in big business.

Does anyone remember the famous spaghetti trees? Or the day the Radio 4 programme changed its signature tune into what sounded like music from a Disney parade?

Q: What do you call a hammer bought on 1at April?

A: An April tool (of course!)

Oh I remember the spaghetti tree and my mother believing it 🤣🤣🤣

There was uproar on FB when the post from the Range said it had it's Christmas isle up and running ,
People were saying ridiculous it's too early etc till people pointed out the date 🤣🤣

Have you seen the one with David Attenborough voice about the iron brew bush fruiting in time to replenish the haggis before it goes back into hibernation 🤣🤣

Oma, I'd forgotten about the David Attenborough one - yes, hilarious.

Plant, I think it was the very first April Fool tv broadcast, and somehow seemed plausible!
