    Was I following Graham??

On Wednesday, driving home from my massage I was following a 4 by 4 type of car, with DOG as part of it's registration number. I could also see a dog guard. I was very excited as I thought it might be 'Dogs Behaving Badly' Graham (who I have a bit of a crush on )as his registration ends like that.

I presumed I would never know, as the car was ahead of me. As it happens just as we stopped at the traffic lights it stopped and reversed into the car park of motor shop we use for replacement windscreen wipers etc. The lights changed unfortunately before the driver got out so I had to move on. What little I saw of him though didn't look like Graham to me. He looked older. I can't be sure though.

Was it Graham's car, or just another dog lover?!

Well you will never know now Gem,
I like him he's so calm with the dogs and they respond to him because of it I think.

Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Gem, Oma, I'm not so keen. He gets very rapid "results" but they look almost too good to be true, and a lot can be done with clever editing. But he's very popular and keeps making programmes, doesn't he.

He does... but often when he goes back 6 weeks later owners report that their dog is still a work in progress

You're right Gem, but it's quite possible the behaviour he's training for doesn't last unless the owner does constant reinforcement. I'd rather like to be a fly on the wall when the cameras aren't there to be honest. But it makes interesting television, and I hope his work is as effective as it appears. I wonder if it really was him in the car.

He does seem to get rapid results but I bet in real life it's hours of training , it's just edited to look quick.
If owners don't keep up the work it's wasted time really.

Oma, I agree. Things don't change a dog's mindset/behaviour overnight, and it's usually lifelong reinforcement.

I like watching the programme. Some of the dogs are so troubled, usually the owners fault.
