    Charity shop donations

Well I have cleared my wardrobe ,
    I have been ruthless

Sorting through my shoes I found a pair of sketchers and a pair of black loafers still with the tags on I forgot I bought,
There was also several pairs of shoes still boxed I'm never going to wear and to be honest I don't know why I bought them they went in the bag along with several pairs of summer sandals I haven't worn or worn once,
I tend to like certain ones and ignore the rest,
I have two pairs of sandals I bought before Christmas in the sales so they will probably get worn this summer.

I then tackled my handbags AGAINπŸ™„
7 have gone in the bag ,

I did keep my expensive leather ones and a couple of small ones I can use when going out , just to put my purse and phone in .

Clothes came next, suprisedly not as much as I thought , several dresses about 6 blouses and a couple of cardigans ,

I bought two pairs of trousers this morning and when I counted I have 15 pair of black trousers mainly all the same style , but they are comfortable and I only wear trousers apart from on hot days so I'm telling myself that's ok 🀣
I haven't touched my summer clothes I will do that another day,

I now have a huge IKEA bag overflowing to take to the charity shop,

B said now are you sure about your handbags , bless him πŸ₯°

Im not fat just 6ft too small

Oma, well done! You must be pleased to have cleared out so much.

I started a winter clear out recently. I always let GD1 have a look through anything bound for a charity shop as she buys all her clothes in charity shops and remakes them, so even if she cuts something up for the fabric it's useful.

Last time she spotted a pair of black jeans which she said would be Β£20 in a charity shop, and she didn't feel comfortable taking something so expensive. Anyway in the end she had one cotton top and I sent the rest to a women's refuge who were apparently very pleased. So women arrive at a place of safety like a refuge with nothing more than what they stand up in.
