    Disaster of the day!

As I was getting a nearly full bag of frozen peas out of the freezer at lunchtime ,too late I realised the clip had come off. Unfortunately I ‘d grabbed the bag upside down and virtually the entire contents fell out on the floor! It sounded like a hailstorm😀 I keep this overflow freezer in a small room just off the kitchen, it’s sort of a utility come garden room with lots of things on the floor. I spent quite a long time on my hands and knees with the dustpan and brush but I bet I’ve missed a fair few under the stuff in there. I hope the birds like peas!😀

Oh Clover, what a nuisance that must have been. I'm sure you will be finding little dried up peas for ages.

I did something equally silly when I was cleaning the fridge out a few days ago. I opened what I thought was a part-used jar of Rose Harissa paste to check it was ok. I didn't realise it hadn't been used at all and a whole dollop of oily orange mess went all down the fridge shelves, onto the floor, all over my hands and then all over the kitchen roll I tried to use to mop up, and all over the taps and sink when I tried to wash it off things.

Why does it seem to spread when your doing your best to prevent that,

Not the same but last week I opened the fridge door and a tub of blueberries went everywhere,
Someone I won't mention who but his name begins with B hadn't put them on the shelf right ,
I had to pull the fridge out to get them,What was under there was a revelation,
My god there was dried grapes bits of paper I couldn't tell you how many tablets that had been dropped and rolled under it was shocking 😂😂😂

Oma, I had managed to get the oily mess on both hands, so everything I touched, and many things I didn't touch, got oily as well.

One day last week Eva was eating a rather large frozen sprat. She bit it in half and one half disappeared down her throat, the other went under the freezer. I was very keen to retrive that no matter what - can you imagine if we hadn't seen it happen!

Oma, precisely what I was worried about. Do your remember the Thort of Dog cartoons, where every so often the dog would try to get something that had rolled under the fridge ages ago? Eva would be like that - she wouldn't give up hope!!

It's like that old trick played on unpopular theatrical landladies, sewing kippers into the curtain hems before leaving, or nailing them under the table

I should send Shadow and Storm round they would have soon cleared them up. They both love frozen peas.

Nannycuddles,if only I’d known! I remember when I had a dog any food dropped on the floor didn’t stand a chance! I think the birds enjoyed the peas. They’ve disappeared anyway.
