It takes some time to get used to anywhere or anything that changes from a well-known name to a new one and none more so than the decision by various Welsh national parks, beauty spots and landmarks. They're now know not by the familiar Snowdonia National Park, for example but by their Welsh language names.
So Snowdonia National Park is now officially Yr Wyddfa, and Snowdonia as Eryri, while the Brecon Beacon have dropped their English name in favour of Bannau Brycheiniog.
I can't imagine what our sat nav will make of these changes because it already struggles with Abergele.
