    Teddy bears

Plant's post on Chat about a teddy bears picnic got me wondering how many of us still have our teddy?

I have mine and here is his photo. He was apparently pink and fluffy once! He was very well loved by me. For several decades lived in the loft. When I moved here I decided this was awful and he would live in lofts no more!
He sits on the back of the sofa. GS2 has always been a bit repulsed by him, but GS3 seems to love him

Hello Teddy. I didn’t have a teddy, being a war baby and the youngest of six. I do have a teddy now made out of one of my OH’s jackets. I will attempt a pic.

I was given a fairly large Teddy for Christmas when I was 5. He was sitting at the end of my bed staring at me when I woke up. With wartime blackout curtains still up I could only dimly see the shape (huge to me!) and a bit of gleam of the eyes.

I can remember being absolutely terrified and screaming the house down. Needless to say Ted and I never bonded. He may still be in our loft somewhere, but he was never named and never loved.

Plant, it's lovely that you have the bear from your OH's clothes.
I have a cardigan my mum loved and wore a lot in her last couple of years. I want a teddy made of that but want something of my dad's to be used too. I have a few things of dad's in the loft, I must get OH to go up and bring them down,

That must have been scary Daisy.

I had Teddy from birth and dried many of my childhood tears on him! I'm still very fond of him, and he reminds me of my dad but I have no idea why!

GS2s beloved Teddy is a grey and white cotton one who he has almost worn out! His other Gran made teddy a new body of toweling a few years ago, but he didn't want the face replacing. He had much sturdier toys but this is the one which at 8 he loves and always has done.

              I haven't got a teddyfrom when i was little.
To be honest,i don't know if i ever had one.
We still have two teddies from the sons were little.
The big one was bought for DS1 a few days before he was born.
The little one was bought for DS2 for his first Christmas, when he was 6 months old.
Big teddy has a floppy head and little teddy is floppy all over.
Little teddy has always been called Isiah, because one eye was a little bit higher than the other.

Well loved Teddies Nanto , love the name 😁

At the moment the clothes and boots Jacko has on belonged to my GS1
Before that he had a series of clothes .
I keep meaning to get something else for him 😁
