    A level results today

I'm not sure that any of us have GC or GGC who have taken A levels this summer. I have a feeling they are all too old or too young.

I hope everyone gets the results they hoped for. Nationally it seems it's generally good news.

It'll be fingers crossed for me next year Gem when GS gets his results!

It was always a big day in the College calendar when the A level results came out - and invariably a lot of happy students, and some very sad ones with decisions to be made. The work load invariably ramped up the following week when incoming students got their GCSE results.

We've got a 'break' for a couple of years. GS2 had his A Level/BTEC results last year and the next one will be GD1 with GCSE results. Gem, I presume that will be the same for your GD?

WeeGranny, does your GS know what he wants to do after his A Levels?

Clover, is your GS doing GCSEs this year or next - sorry I've lost track.

Daisy I think our GDs are in the same academic year, along with Libra Gran and Qwerty. I remember them all starting school at the same time

Your GD is one of the youngest, mine one of the oldest with an October birthday.

Oh yes, they did start together. That had slipped my mind. My GD1 is looking forward to her 14th birthday in 10 days!

Clover, I do remember now, but my goodness it doesn't seem 5 minutes since we were talking about GCSEs and A Level results. I hope he's enjoying his summer break. xx
