    A phone for £9.99!

    Well not really!

I move my sim card to a new phone which I buy when I need a new one, as my monthly payment is very low and there is no phone they can upgrade me to which wouldn't increase this drastically, so for me buying new one every few years is the way

I need a new phone, and generally just update to the latest model of the Motorola I already have.

I had a lot of Nectar points and kept thinking I must use them
I used £80 worth of points and just had to top that up with £9.99 to pay for the phone from Argos.

Well done Gem. I love it when you can use an accumulation of points to take the sting out of the cost of something !

Well that’s a good bargain , clever way to use your points up,
I always just keep them going till either I want something or buy something nice at Christmas.

Last time I used them I bought 4 habitat fur cushions and a throw 😁

Thats the way to do it Gem. Any saving you can make is good.

Last week, i thought i woul have to buy a new phone.
Mine wasn't holding its charge. They say you can't replace a battery, when the phone is sealed.
So, hubby went on you tube, and it can be done. He ordered a battery from ebay, did as it said on you tube, and its fine now.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Nice one Gem! I am currently saving my Boots points for some rather expensive face cream which I wouldn’t buy otherwise.
I love YouTube for that very ‘how to’ reason Nanto, I’m sure I have saved us £££s.

Gem, I do the same -buy a new phone as and when necessary and have a monthly "Goody Bag" from Giff Gaff.

Nanto - your OH is definitely a DIY star.

We've accumulated a lot of Nectar points and keep saying we need to use them up!
