The weather was for the most part pretty horrible at home when we were lucky enough to be enjoying cloudless blue skies and sunshine in Malta all week.
We were due to land in a thunderstorm on Tuesday but as our flight was late we avoided it. It was still very cloudy though and rained on our drive home.
However the next day was sunny , very warm and dry, as is today and supposedly the next couple of days.
It makes so much difference to come home to this sort of weather. Not only do you miss your holiday less, it's great from a practical point of view. We have been able to get our holiday washing done and dried outside.
Whenever we land in rain in Leeds or Manchester I have visions of holiday clothes on airers!
