    Yesterday afternoon.

We had a lovely meal out with friends, then we went to a garden centre.
Friend was saying how nice not having to cook. She is thinking of getting an air fryer.
Told her i wouldn't be without mine. She rang me this morning to say she has bought one.
Anyway the point of my story is,yesterday she said she hates cleaning the oven.
Told her i hardly use mine now,but i did used to clean it regularly.
I just wipe it out now in case it gets dusty inside.
I did say the only thing i can't do, is clean between the glass panels in the doors.
After we got home, hubby took both oven doors off, took the glass apart and cleaned them all.
Put the doors back on and they are gleaming now.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

We take ours off at least once a week to clean the glass
Our oven is a self clean you just put it on a certain setting for I think about a hour it burns everything off and just leaves like a carbon dust that just wipes out ,It’s brilliant.
We tend to use the Air fryer more than the oven now and I have liners for that so not much cleaning .

I must admit I don’t like a dirty glass oven door.

Nanto, every time I read and hear about air fryers I get this slight green tinge to my face! I don't know any one who regrets buying one. I bet your friends are enjoying theirs as well!

Oma, my DIL1 has a self-cleaning oven - brilliant. Ironically, my old gas oven self-cleaned but this one needs my (or OH's) TLC!

Whenever people say they don't use their ovens much I remember Nadiya Hussain saying that her mother never used her oven except to keep pots and pans in it!

Oma, both of our ovens are self cleaning, but it doesn't get into the double glazing of the doors.

Funnily enough, I don't mind cleaning the door, but I can't actually reach to the back wall of the oven - I need longer arms!
