    Welcome February

    Welcome to the shortest month.

    3 birthdays for us,1 today,1 on the 19th and 1 on the 20th.

I always think to expect anything weatherwise in February.

No plans for us this month.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

I agree about the weather Nan2. Mostly wintery you would imagine, but there can be nice days, and the nights continue to grow lighter

My DD1's birthday is in February and we have couple of friends birthdays.

This weekend we are having a small version of our New Years Eve party, for the benefit of our close friend who missed out on December 31st due to covid.
As a family we have decided to do something fun every month. January was a brunch at DD3's. We have offered to host this this months, an afternoon tea. Date still under discussion.
Half term falls in February, so a different week for me. No library, and full childcare days instead of school runs.

It's a quiet month for us. Just one birthday - one of my oldest friend's on the 9th. We're having the caravan serviced this month so it's time to plan some holidays.

My 'wee' brother's birthday on 10th when I also take part in a Driver Awareness course thanks to me being caught speeding. 33 in a 30 zone, so I had didn't have to have any points on my licence! That'll teach me, the annoying thing was I saw the van and thought to myself, must remember where the police sit, never thinking they might be catching the unwary drivers.....like me!!!
I've also got two x one day art classes, a visit to the theatre, lunch with OH's cousin and his wife, a facial and a week with doggo while the family are in Cornwall. Also the anniversary of my Dad's death some 38 years ago. Oh and there's a Book Club starting in the village, so I said I'd go along to their first meeting. Quite a busy month all in all.

Gosh 33 in a 30 zone is hard luck WG. Is it an online course? My DD had to go in person but I think it changed to online.

WeeGranny getting caught doing 33 is hard luck, but at least no points on your licence is good. Do you have to tell your insurance company?

We've got a lot of those signs that light up if you're speeding and I went into a village today still doing 31 down a hill, but unless you're looking more at your speedo than the road ahead it's hard to be that accurate.

The art classes sound much more fun.
