Love and best wishes to Oma.

Today Oma is having her dental surgery. Her internet is down so she is not sure when she will be back here.

Sending her lots of love and fingers crossed for both issues!

Oma is home from the hospital. She said the surgeon was lovely and put her at her ease. I'm sure she will tell us all about the op when they get their internet back, but she's ok and her mouth is still anaesthetised and she can take painkillers when she needs them.

Afternoon ladies , I've managed to get online via my phone .
Thank you for all the good wishes

For those that didn't know I had a wisdom tooth taken out in July but the Dentist could only get part of it out so packed it and I had to go to Hospital this morning to get it out .
Surgeon was lovely put me at ease and told me step by step what he was doing , checking all the time I was OK.
He numbed it all then cut my gum across and down to expose the jaw but when he started the extraction I felt pain so numbed it more
He then had to drill a little jaw our to get the tooth to come out , not as much as he thought he would need to do so that was a bonus . He then stitched it all back up and stitches come out in 3 weeks .
It actually sounds worse than it was as after all it was numb .
can only drink and eat liquids through a straw for 36 hours because of swelling and bleeding.

The pain is kicking in now the numbness is wearing off but I've taken pain killers fingers crossed they work .

Face is swelling nicely I look like a one sided chipmunk 😁
Typing on my phone is difficult it's so small so hopefully Internet will be back soon xx

Oma, I hope you've got lots of nice liquidised goodies for the next 36 hours, and the pain killer do a good job. For goodness sake rest and recover - no housework, cleaning bathrooms or anything else. Sending hugs, xxx

Having something like that done it is quite a shock to the body so please take things easy. You and B need to rest.

Wow! That’s a description and a half. But glad it all went well. I know you don’t drink but if you did, I’d recommend a glassful of fizz to ease the pain. As it is perhaps puréed raspberries might by just the ticket. X
