    Something nice

This morning before we went to MILs I had to go to Sainsburys to buy her Cigarettes ( against my principal but no choice )

Only myself and a elderly gent waiting at the counter ,
This old fella handed his lottery ticket to the girl and said ,
    I think I have won £25

She took his ticket then said , no you haven’t won £25
His face fell and he looked so sad then she said
    You have won £250

Honestly he almost glowed he was so happy
Kept asking if she was sure
His face when she counted the money out was so uplifting

The girl said , shame it’s not £2500 , he said he was happy when he thought it was £25 so he Was more than happy with £250

The girl made sure he had put the money away safely then he said he was going to treat himself to a bottle of Brandy 😁

Honestly it made my day I felt excited for him
I couldn’t stop smiling just thinking how happy he was

So nice to witness something nice for a change 😁👍

It was one of those things that even if you were having a bad day it would lift your spirit ,
I wonder if he had anyone he could share his happiness with at home ,
I hope he enjoys his Brandy 😁

Oma, what a lovely thing to happen to a gentleman who sounded as though he needed the money.
