Ahh, thank you, Plant. I do share them with our GDs if they are 'child friendly'. GD1 loved the one about Hetty and Etty and I've promised to write her another one about them - I started one, but it wasn't going anywhere so I abandoned it.

I'll print these two out for both GDs to read if they want to.

It would be lovely to do a creative writing course, Plant. It's on my bucket list.

          Lovely Daisy. Really well written
          Will there be more?!

The chicks being named in alphabetical order reminds me of my own family! I didn't even realise my 3DD's names were in alphabetical order to match their birth order. A friend who didn't know them as children told me it was easy for her to remember which was oldest etc, as they are A, K and S!

Thank you Gem. I'm not sure if there will be more - possibly!

I didn't realise your DDs were in alphabetical order according to their ages. It was very clever of you!

                  Aww thanks Qwerty.
I know we both enjoy it.

I love being able to take myself out of my world and into another.
As we do in reading, but we have control over that world when we write!

Qwerty - thank you. Like Gem, I really enjoy it once I get an idea. Then it can take over a bit till I get it typed up because I keep thinking about the story line and 'writing' it in my head.

I think all our Grannies have got a few stories in them - the hardest part is the first sentence! Do have a go.
