New sewing hobbie.

This is the owl cushion that I made using my new sewing machine. Just got to work out how to make Button holes so Emily can also add extra eye parts. The pattern was just for a simple owl with no moving parts.

Thankyou it’s not perfect but I’m very pleased with the result. Just need to go onto YouTube and try to learn how to do Button holes. If not I’ve got a couple of friends that do a lot of sawing will ask them if they will come and teach me. Xx

This is my latest project. I made the table runner, which is my first attempt at quilting. Not perfect but I’m pleased with the finish project. I need to improve on machining in a straight line and practice more on the corners of the edge binding. I think my next project may be bunting for Kieran.

I once did a one-day workshop and made a quilted cushion cover and found it quite enjoyable - but I can't remember how to do it now and my general sewing skills are non-existent. So I take my hat off to you.
