I have moved some of your lovely posts about your crafts to this thread. The original Handmade By You thread was just for information really.

Hmm, Daisy is the one to advise on that Nana and is on a weeks holiday, maybe she can help when she is back. Have you tried inserting them into a post rather than on your media? I'm not sure that makes any difference though!

Thanks Plant. My neice was overcome by the memory bear. She sent me some beautiful flowers. There wasn't any need but she wanted to show how grateful she was. Lovely girl.

FROM THE MOVING HOUSE THREAD....
Graunty quote...
"If you do sit tight Nana I highly recommend a ruthless declutter of the attic and similar places when you have nothing better to do, haha! (Ican't believe I said that to a fellow crafter 😁)"
It made me smile too. One of the pitfalls eh Graunty. I've recently got a large storage unit from the well known flat pack shop & have nearly filled it with my art/craft stuff, as intended. It's all in one place now instead of bedroom drawers, wardrobe, bedroom, garage shelves & yes the LOFT. OH has been great as I've not been able to do most of it.
Enfys was it you who said you stroke your material? Only a crafter/sewer could understand that one😂 I opened a new book the other day to share with GS1 & inhaled that beautiful smell that only new books can give you. I know ...I'm weird but loveable.😉

Nana, I'm also a scrwpbooker and stroke my paper . Weird or what! I just can't bring myself to take the scissors to it, I must though as I've got so much. I also smell new books, lovely!! We'll both be weird together 🤡👽🤓

Before I developed wobbly hands I did Egg craft , Decorating and cutting everything from Quail eggs to Ostrich eggs , but it needs a steady hand to cut fragile egg shells so sadly I had to sell all my equipment , same with my sugar craft cutters etc no longer can make delicate leaves and petals
Not much now Enfys I can manage a little Cross stitch but with my Arthritis too its hard to use a needle for long .
I loved several crafts before this , I made sugar craft flowers for many people and made all the flowers for DD wedding cake , but Egg craft was my favourite ,
I used to like Sewing I always made my own Cushions, Curtains , Clothes etc ,again all things I cant manage as well now ,Drawing was another thing I enjoyed and water colour , on good days when I'm not wobbly I could still manage that but ive lost the will now ,
The one thing I never did was Card making it never appealed to me , I need to find something that doesn't require a steady hand and anything too fiddly or heavy lifting , that's mainly why I don't sew now .I have no where to keep a sewing machine out and when I lift it out of the cupboard the weight makes my hands shake uncontrollably so not worth the effort .
Has anyone done Felting I fancy that but is it fiddly ?
Would mosaic be a possibility Oma? It is a beautiful craft which I fancy trying. In fact I bought lots of equipment for it years ago.
There is a fiddly element to getting small pieces of tile into position, but it's not as delicate and fiddly as some crafts.

I bought a felting kit but passed it on to a friend, not patient enough and kept stabbing myself. there must be something you can do artistically Oma, I remember seeing your eggs, they were amazing.
What is life if full of care we have no time to stand and stare
Trouble with Mosaic Gem is there are only so many you can do before you run out of space for them and I would only have the shed to do stuff like that in not practical in the winter months ,
I was going to try Pin craft but again its picking up the pins and beads . I'm sure I will come across something , I may pop into Hobby craft next time I'm near one and see what else is possible they often have demonstrations on
