    Grauntie's Handy Hints

I picked these sewing storage tips up from Pinterest and I have put them into practice with great success!
    1. Bobbins.
These can be stored in an ice cube tray. Three to a slot. No more bobbin threads in a knotty muddle. I have colour coordinated them too!
    2. Sewing machine feet.
A pill organiser. Happy days! Each one fits in a day's compartment.
    3. Scissors /stitch ripper /marker/etc.
These can be stored in a soap dish with suction to stick to the side of the machine. No more 'now where has that gone' from me.
    oh Joy, happy Grauntie. 😁

GM - they are good tips, and I'm sure they save a lot of fumbling around, things getting mixed up or falling on the floor.

I always think there ought to be a good use for Frerro Rocher boxes (any shape) and keep eating up all the chocs but then can't think how I can usefully use the empties!

I cannot even sew a button on and expect it to stay there, I am wonder web queen me! Ummm do I have any helpful tips? OH yes! Always make sure you have put a bottle of good Sauvignon blanc (preferably New Zealand) or Viognier in the fridge for when you get home from work; make sure there is enough ice in the freezer for your gin and tonic (that would be for after the wine); do not fall out with your ironing fairy under any circumstance; Make sure your company car is clean but only if your boss is going to be getting in it or you are giving it back at the end of the lease period. Well that is a start isn't it? I hope that is helpful to everyone🍾🍸😇

What is the best product for cleaning a cream leather suite? It wasn't that clean when we came here and I think I should make the effort before we leave.😬

GM - we have a cream leather suite as well and I shall look out for Oma's instructions with interest - so I can pass them on to OH, of course!!!

As a very slutty housewife, I haven't got much to contribute except:

I use sponges to clean the bathrooms/cloakroom and have pink for the sink, and blue for the loo. That way I never wonder which is which.
