Avo - it's lovely. I should think your DIL will be delighted with it.

I made these yesterday, one for me and one for DIL. Mine is the pink one. They are peg bags (obviously)

Where do you find your fabrics Avo? They're so fresh & modern. Beautiful.

Usually I buy my fabric on ebay. The pegbag fabrics are Makower and it only takes a fat quarter for each bag. However the car fabric was bought at a local fabric shop (sadly now closed).

Today I made this zippered bag, and a matching shopper which fits inside it! My first attempt at a zip...

Avo - they're lovely and look very professional. I remember once putting a new zip into OH's suit trousers - it took me two attempts and all day!

Avo, what a beautiful jumper. I'm sure the boys (and their mum!) will love them.

                          Lovely jumper Avo.
I am a happy bunny, I have just brought some red and white wool from our local market this morning to knit two christmas stockings
I have given up on crochet at the mo, its driving me mad. Not sure what I am doing wrong but I seem to be decreasing my stitches as I go along .
Bring me sunshine in your smile.

I'd love to crochet Mimi, but have never learnt how.

Avo - lucky GS - that looks like a very nice - and cosy - jumper. You must knit very quickly though to be doing another one before Christmas.

Mimi - do you have to use circular needles or 4 needles for the stockings or can you makde them with 2 needles and have seams like old-fashioned nylons?

It's knitted on large needles Daisy, so grows very quickly!
