    Teepee

The husband of my friend who passed away last year has given me her fabric stash. I made this teepee from some of the material for their 4 year old grandson. I do hope he likes it.

GM - that looks very professional. I'm sure the little boy will love it.

I took the idea from Pinterest. The fabric is deck chair quality, so I think it was for some kind of furnishing project.
Her husband also gave me some beautiful Chinese silk which had been in her family for a very long time. I am trying to think of something special to make for her daughter with it. She is struggling poor lass.

Brilliant teepee! I am sure he will love it. I love the feel of silk and I am sure whatever you make will be really appreciated. Were you thinking of outer wear or underwear or perhaps a night dress?

None of those. The silk is heavy weight with embroidery Shem. I thought about a clutch bag or covering a shaped box. Still thinking though, no hurry.
