    A day’s work!

These are the results of a day class I went on recently! It was where I go in term time, but it was lovely to be able to sit and complete something in one go! For those interested I used water colour pencils! IMG_2696.jpg IMG_2695.jpg

WeeGranny, both of these are impressive. I love how you've done the reflections in the water on the second one - and your figures really look as though they are walking along - so natural. I hope you're going to frame them and have them on show.

I've got some watercolour pencils which I'll take on holiday. What kind of paper did you use?

So talented , they are both amazing .
You could almost eat the pears and the couple walking on the beach has so much movement you can see them walking in your mind chatting away battling the elements 😀

Thank you ladies! I really enjoyed doing them!
Daisy, I probably will get them framed! Will check on the paper I used and let you know!
Different sort of painting today.....my shower room! Not nearly as enjoyable, but I'm pleased with how it's looking so far!

They’re lovely WG. Makes me want to get my paints out again but the results wouldn’t be as good as yours, but I know the act of trying can be very satisfying even if the finished painting could be better!

Clover, I feel the same - WeeGranny is very talented. But if we paint or draw or do anything creative as long as we enjoy the process, that's the main thing. (Although - whispering - I am rather envious of WeeGranny's art). xx

Wow WG! Both are terrific. As Daisy says, they will look great framed.
