Beautiful WG. I bet there were many compliments.

I wish I was good at flower arrangements. I’m a ‘shove it in’ person. I can fiddle for ages and it still looks grim.

Wee Granny - that looks very festive. The flowers are beautiful, especially the gladioli and those white chrysanths, and I love the arrangement. I'm with Grauntie - shove 'em in and hope for the best. I do try to do 'arrangements' but they never look right! I like the idea of the cross in the arrangement too - very appropriate for a church arrangement.

Have you been to flower arranging classes?

I could see none!!; I specially looked and didn't spot any. There is that lovely flower smell when they are around anyway, which I didn't detect. How odd!!

Maybe the flowers hadn't been 'done' yet Gem! Probably the Abbey will be a hive of flower arranging activity the day before they have their Harvest Festival.

I hadn't expected to do a large arrangement, but hoped that I remembered what I'd learned on a class some 25 years ago! My arrangements at home are of the stick-em-in a vase and hope they look OK kind of arrangements!

Thank you all for your kind words !

WeeGranny, yes, you were definitely paying attention in those classes 25 years ago.
