    Separation time '

Well today the twins moved into their own bedrooms ,for the first time they are apart at bedtime, they had their story in Ms room tomorrow story in Js room Joseph said to mummy I just have to ask M a question then M ran into Js bedroom with a question, again M ran into Js room and said M your the best and J said M your the best he then went into his bedroom and shut the door, dil is telling me this I had the biggest lump in my throat and my eyes were stinging , daddy used the room previously for all his musical instruments, when his dad checked on him he asked him to leave as that was his room now
Anyway they are fast asleep M in her Minnie Mouse room and J in his room of Planets

Qwerty - it's a big step, moving into separate rooms. I bet they are both feeling very grown up - it's another landmark for them. xx

My GD1 would love her own room, but their house is only 2 bedrooms, but their beds are on either side and a chest of drawers between them gives her a bit of her own space and they go to bed at different times.

That certainly is a big step, definitely a tears in the eyes and a lump in the throats time Qwerty.

It's a big thing for them being separated at night.
            Hope they both sleep ok.

My 2 oldest daughters shared a room, and the elder longed for her own room Daisy.
GS1 hates having his own room and wishes he had a sibling to share it with. He often ends up in Mummys bed!

Qwerty - how did it go last night?

Gem - Our sons shared until DS1 was about 6, then he wanted his own room and moved into the spare room on the understanding that he had to go back into his brother's room if we had visitors staying. Poor GS1 - but perhaps if he had a sibling he'd want his own room.

Awwww. How lovely. Time flies so swiftly now Qwerty. My GS of the same age has his own room & sleeps in what he calls his 'big boy bed'. Almost every night for the last four months she sees him coming into their room, his duvet over his shoulder & just flops on their bed. Asleep in seconds.

I bet J & M's mummy & daddy felt it too. You sound like a very loving family.x

I bet they love their rooms. What good children settling so quickly ☺
3 years is a long time to share, it wouldn't have been
surprising if they found it hard at first.
