    Back to School

My GD2 didn't break up for Christmas until Friday, 22nd December and she goes back on Thursday this week ( 4 Jan). It doesn't seem a very long break, so it's a good job she loves school so much!

Daisy that is so short! Mine broke up on December 22nd, but don't go back until January 9th.

Oldest GS (only one at school) starts back on Monday. He broke up the Friday before Christmas. They do get so very tired.

Daisy our schools did to although my lot left school a little earlier because of the holiday in Florida. They are all back to school tomorrow and none of them want to go!

Two eldest back today and tomorrow J, who is 5 and loved school at the start has now started to dislike it! Not sure what has gone wrong but hope it’ll be ok after a break. 😬

GM - perhaps it just seemed a long term for a 5 year old.

I hope that’s all Daisy, I’ll have DD2 on the phone upset if it starts again. I have reminded her that she was just the same.....clinging on to me not wanting to go in, sobbing like she was being left in the evil clutches of a teacher for ever....

DD said GS was most reluctant to go back to school this morning, after the Christmas break. When I picked him up after school however he was cheerful and chatty ☺

I think some children are just like that - little worriers in unexpected ways. GD1 really adores school, but is in tears most mornings going in. There are a a hundred and one different reasons she gives, but once she's there she's fine.

So I hope GS will be ok tomorrow, Gem.

GS1 cried all the way to school on his 1st day back & the TA had to peel him off DD1. It turns out the music teacher told him to do his work or Fr Christmas wouldn't come & all the class laughed at him. (Before they broke up). On his way to school he was sobbing & repeating 'I don't like it when they all laugh at me mummy'. Dd1 isn't slow in sorting things out, which she did. He's as happy as Larry now.
Hope all the little ones are settled now.
