Came in with a very swollen thumb but managed a full football game for the school before he came home
Been to drop in centre had xray and its strapped up now, They will ring with a appointment for hand clinic tomorrow , He asked Dr if he needed to take time off school as its his right hand and Dr said no you can still type , J was gutted

Oh dear that's bad luck.I don't expect it'll put him off though. It'll take more than an injured thumb to stop him playing football.

What timing...yesterday the news was full of 'is it safe for young children to play touch rugby at school?'. In J's case, obviously not.😉 Hope he's ok.

Oh he was fine came out of there and went straight to Mcdonalds with his friends who had all gathered outside drop in centre to wait and see how he was and although it was hurting he wasn't missing his school football match for anything.

Poor lad. You don't like to think of any of them in pain. Wishing him a speedy recovery. Nothing like being where you get spoilt when you're off it.
