    The class bunny

    My granddaughter, 7, is the proud caretaker of the class rabbit this weekend. She said to me on Friday "For the first time Grandma I want to go home tonight. Daddy will have brought Carrots (rabbit!) home!"

    DD sent me this photo. Baby grandson admiring the bunny. His sister obviously taking her duties very seriously and keeping a close eye on them both!

    Awww bless her.Carrots is a good name for a rabbit.

      Oh the responsibility though. I'm sure Carrots has had star treatment this weekend. Does he/she have a run as well for the garden? Just thinking he would do a good job of "cutting" the lawn. 😀

        I agree Daisy,I remember years ago they did this at my youngest's primary school.He had the class hamster for the weekend, believe me I was relieved to get the thing back to school still in one piece. Is that the hutch it is kept in at school Gem,only asking as it looks awfully small for a rabbit,more like a guinea pig size cage.

          The cage is just for the weekend home visits. It has a big wooden hutch at school , and it also has a run.

                Awww lovely but I'm like Libra when mine would bring the class pet home I couldn't wait till Monday to get it back to school in one piece and alive
