Off to the Year Six residential - who would have thought it?

This morning my GS1 set off on the 3 day Year 6 Residential trip for his school.
A big event for any child, but he has hardly been to school over the past month.
Most of you know the details from YEO. I will go to add more there when I finish here.

Amazing, and good news of course for GS and for DD.

Gem, that is incredible, and I'm sure it will be a memorable few days for him. xx

Well done to him. The children are naturally a bit nervous at first but usually have a whale of a time and come home with all their clean underwear unused!! 😧😀

Gem, I've been wondering how your GS1 got on on the residential trip. I do hope he enjoyed it and it gave some of his confidence back. xx

                  Thank you Daisy and everyone.

                  I didn't realise I hadn't updated.

GS had a very good time. He found some things a bit difficult but tackled everything

Gem, a huge well done to your GS! It was so good that he stuck with it even when things got a bit difficult. How is he now?

To be honest I have heard very little Daisy! And of course we were still on holiday when he came back.
I do know he did very well in his SATs. I always say if he wants to do something he sets his mind to it and does well.

Gem, it shows what a determined and focussed boy he can be, which is good. I hope the residential sparked a sea change for him. xx
