    And it's a Distinction!

    As many of you know GS1 has been doing an Apprenticeship in IT and he's just had his results - passed with a Distinction. To say he's pleased is an understatement.

    He was working at a client's today and afterwards they emailed his boss to say how good he was and what a nice lad!

    He's worked hard and he absolutely loves his job, so it's fantastic to see him doing well.

    I think this is my 'allowed' Proud Granny boast!

          Daisy, well done to your GS. The whole family must be proud of him. A big well done to him.

            WOW 🀩 what a star , I bet not only you both but his parents must be super proud of him .
            it’s such an achievement but to get a call from a client saying how nice he was is the icing on the cake ,

                    Thank you all for your good wishes. GS1 had a tough time in an education system that never quite worked out he was a square peg who would never fit into a round hole. They did their best, but I know there are other Grannies who will see similar issues for their dear GCs.

                    So this is also a message of hope for those who are struggling. Our GS was lucky and found his niche and the perfect work environment. It's wonderful to see him so happy and confident.

                      The incredibly proud Granny boast continues.

                      We knew when GS1 got his results that he was in the top ten nationally of the company who provide, monitor and award the apprenticeships. Today it's been announced - he's Number One! How proud we are of his achievement.
