    Making Christmas decorations

GD1's school are having a whole day of making Christmas decorations today, and to put them in the festive mood their Headmaster was outside this morning playing Christmas songs on his guitar and singing. All the children were grinning - he's a very popular head.

DIL2 was dancing along to the music as they were walking along, but GD2 said "that is not appropriate, Mummy"! Mummy asked why and GD replied "you're not at home now Mummy, you're at school, AND it's embarrassing for me"

    Oh poor Mummy!!!!

GS1 doesn't like his mum to even sing along to anything, but tolerates it from me

What a lovely day for the children!

Gem - I have suggested to Mummy that she should warn GD2 that parents have a duty to embarrass their children so they will know how to prevent said children embarrassing the following generation!

Mummy was slightly taken aback, and suitably subdued.

Oma - it's a lovely school and the Head is great with the children. He always seems to connect with each child and is very good at making even boring things fun so they enjoy them.
