They are young Men now Gem ,
GS worries he isnt tall but I think he is fine,
its because he is slight build too , we keep telling him he will fill out and his Dad was the same at that age
And he can grow a wicked beard quickly , although I prefer when he is clean shaven

Connor is a lovely sensible young man , he is the one that risk assesses if they are doing anything different and keeps them all safe

          Lovely boys Oma.

DS1 has a friend, they met on their first day at school.
Went all through school together, they were in the army together.
Friend lived very near to us.
But due to broken marriages and family problems friend moved to Wales.
They still keep in touch though.
When friend and his wife come up here to visit her family, DS always has a night out with his friend.
Sometimes I forget to like posts, but that doesn't mean I don't like them.

Oma - what a wonderful friendship they have, and what good-looking young men as well! J look perfectly fine to me - not everyone can be a beanpole. He must be incredibly fit with all the football he plays too.

Nanto - I'm glad your DS1 still keeps in touch with his old buddy, even though life has them living far apart.

I wonder how many good long-lasting friendships are started on youngsters' "first day" somewhere - usually school. My DS1 is still good friends with the first person her met on the first day at Uni. They meet up fairly regularly, and we invited him and his family as surprise guests at DS1's birthday in June.

My mum met her best friend ( both will be 93 soon) aged 7, on mum's first day there.
