    A very organised little boy

My younger GS aged 5 likes to be organised. For a couple of years now he has spent lots of time carefully arranging his beloved toy animals. His farms and zoos are very tidy.
When he stayed here on Saturday night, and overnight a month ago, he said he was going up to 'arrange my room'. This involved taking up his bag, arranging his teddies and toys and pyjamas , putting out his nightlight, and even taking his flannel, toothbrush and toothpaste into the bathroom! He is the youngest GC and by far the most organised.
Once GD, aged 11, had gone I checked her room as she is always leaving things. Just a book and a hair bobble this time. However the wet towel from her shower was on the bed

GS1 would be no better. GS2 is one of a kind in this family

Gem - it may wear off as he gets older, but enjoy it while he's keen to keep things so tidy.

Oma - I used to be involved with a Cadet force at College and it was amazing to see even the most disorganised student become a model cadet with uniforms immaculate, and everything clean and tidy. A good discipline for life.

Gem, GD1 is going through a phase at the moment where her room needs tidying each day, GD2 is the opposite, everything has a place.

Lizzie, GD reminds me so much of all my DDs at her age, room a total mess until more or less forced to do something about it!
GS1 is only 8, and as I have no experience of boys in the household I don't know how tidy or otherwise they usually are. I can't imagine him ever arranging or tidying anything voluntarily however

Gem - my GS2 who is 16, has a sign on his door saying that any adults entering must be prepared for the worst. I can't remember the exact words but I think he should supply PPE and a hard hat!!
