    First Time

On Saturday my GS1 took his theory driving test - and passed first time!

I know this wouldn't be news in a lot of families but for my GS1 it's fantastic. As most of you know he's high functioning autistic and he would have been extremely nervous about the test as well as being in a strange place, using a strange computer. His mum and dad were expecting him to be there for about an hour and a half, but he was out in just over an hour, having wizzed through.

We're all really delighted for him.

Wow, well done, they are very strict with young men I think, he must have impressed the examiner.

Plant - I think he must have impressed the computer! He did comment though that the mouse was very slow and unresponsive for the hazard perception part of the test. Thank goodness he didn't decide to take it apart and repair it, which he could do very efficiently.

Thank you all - I'll pass your kind remarks on to him. He's had a rough time for the last two years - Covid on top of a lot of other things - so we're hoping this will be the start of a new phase for him.
