Family hugs

Yesterday morning we were helping the grandchildren pack up to go home.
I said to Gs, 4, that Mummy and Daddy would be happy to see them both.

He said he was going to give Mummy a big cuddle when he got home. I said he must give her an even bigger cuddle from me as I can't give her one.
He looked at me and said. 'Grandma, I can can cuddle you can't I? And I can cuddle Mummy, but you can't cuddle your baby, can you?!'


'Not yet' I said, 'None of my babies, but let's hope soon we can all cuddle who we would like to.'

How sweet Gemini. We are not a cuddling family, hugs and peck on the cheek is more our style, of course we cuddle the little ones.

It's kiss on the cheek and hugs for us really Plant, but DD3 and I tend to have a long cuddle if we haven't seen each other for a little while. Always my baby!

We give hugs and pecks on the cheek. But,some family members don't bother.

We are a very tactile family , We all hug and kiss , even my 16 year old GS , He will kiss and hug Grandad still , not like a lot of 16 yr olds .
B and his Brother always hug each other ,

I have a large family on my side and we all kiss and hug at any opportunity , if we all get together it takes forever to say hello and goodbye , Men women and children all alike
I love it but could imagine it would be too much for strangers , If someone new comes into our crowd I always ask first if its ok to hug
