One good thing about Covid is that parents/ carers now realise that being a teacher is not such a ‘cushy’ job as was often previously thought.
It used to often be said teachers have 12 weeks holiday a year and can finish work around 3.30. Now with so much home schooling going on, parents/ carers perhaps realise a teachers role is rather more challenging. It can be quite difficult to motivate one or two children at home even when they do have the tec required. Teachers are responsible for a class of 30 children. Good luck to all home schoolers and teachers alike. You can only do your best, your best is definitely good enough.

Sunshine - I can't even imagine how hard it must be to teach 30 small children, each with different needs, talents and abilities. Yet, somehow year after year amazing teachers help all those children to read, write, do maths and so much more.
