I know Oma, looks a lovely young man as well. GD's are here for a few days, just gone shopping, they want to bake a cake! GD1 will be 15 in October and is already 6ft tall.

He certainly is a very handsome young man. I bet the girls fancy him. Is he missing his football?

It’s not the best picture of him though ,

Plant he’s back training now but no matches yet , he’s also got several offers from clubs including his old club Sunderland want him back so not sure what he is going to do .
This year coming up is his important Year school wise , we all think that is more important than football .

How do little boys change into young men so quickly?
                    Good looking lad Oma!

I have had the GD's here for 3 days, they left for home on their bikes at 2-30, they baked an apple pie yesterday and took that with them, they both have crates on their bikes so could carry everything, but, just before they left I was asking GD2 which of her toy things I could bring to the second hand place, not many really, then I opened a drawer and found Baby Born catalogues from when GD1 was young, she would spend hours looking through them deciding what she would like, I felt so sad! Strange, can throw things out and an old catalogue upsets me! I showed her them and told her I had a lump in my throat, they do grow so fast!!! She had to laugh and gave me a cuddle. I had an argument with my sister earlier on, I phoned her and she started on about something so I said that wasn't why I phoned. I will get over it.!

Lizzie getting rid of their childhood stuff is so sad isn’t it ,
maybe you were feeling a bit sensitive and whatever your sister was on about just irritated you
I’m sure as you say you will get over it , it’s normal to argue once in a while

Thanks Oma, I have got rid of a lot, no problem, those books touched me! I was sensitive, I phoned my sister to see how she was, I don’t think she is well at all, then she starts ranting on about something! I am feeling better now, very dark and rumbling in the distance.

How lovely to have your GD's staying for a few days Lizzie. I have a file with a lot of the GC's drawings and paintings in, I have kept it so long, I can't throw it away now.
