    Proud Nana

    Just wanted a quick boast.
GD passed her driving test today on her first attempt. She only clocked up 4 minor faults and apparently you are allowed up to 14 !
I’m extra proud as she had her original test cancelled twice in March and July due to the virus. In addition it was sweltering hot where she was, plus she had to wear a 😷
Her driving instructor had to give up her business due to the virus so when lessons were allowed again L couldn’t have lessons with her so SIL took over. Luckily DD and SIL had bought L a cheap car so she was able to continue driving and could use it for her test.
She practised a lot and really deserved to pass so I’m so pleased for her.

Oh well done to your GD Clover! First time is amazing at any time 😊

Funnily enough I noticed a learner driver in a mask today and thought how hot that must be.

Wishing her many years of safe and happy driving.

                    Me again!

Despite the kerfuffle over exam results GD gained excellent results in her β€œA” levels. She’s off to Exeter Uni.in September to study Drama.

A very different and difficult year for her ,as for everyone, but she’s never moaned about missing out on school leaving parties, cancelled driving tests cancelled planned trip abroad with friends and her 18th birthday celebrations. So proud of her.
