It is a very difficult time for everyone, especially the school children, I do hope they can all get back to school in September, but, I have my doubts, it was all going well here, children back at school daily etc then the holidays started and this last week there have been too many new cases, I do so hope we don't go back into lockdown.

My GS is also due to take GCSE’s next year. He has ASD and finds it hard to focus at home.. I really hope allowances will be made somehow ,especially for those who struggle.

Clover - it is a worry. My GS1 is firmly of the opinion that work is to be done at school (college in his case) and has no place in the home. We're hoping he will be accepted on another Level 2 course in September, which is in fact a new course and will give him some progression (the holy grail of college funding). So I really sympathise with your GS, and breaking his arm so badly must be upsetting him, too.
